A Belated Halloween

The day before Halloween, Grandma taught Evey how to bake cookies!
Evey LOVED baking with grandma, and daddy LOVED eating the cookies!!

Halloween!!

Last Halloween is one for the books!

My parents came out, and it was just so fun!
I've been really wanting to make Holidays special with making new traditions.
I think we really did it this year.

We carved pumpkins, went to show off our costumes to other grandmas and grandpas and aunts and uncles,
then we tore up our neighborhood getting lots and lots of candy.
We came home to a warm casserole baked in a pumpkin, and homemade witches brew (rootbeer.)

Each one of our babies have worn this monkey costume on their first official Halloween. Technically Ethan's first Halloween he slept through dressed in a pumpkin onsie. He was only a month old. Aunt Hedder bought this costume for him for the next year, and the kids have been wearing it ever since! Thanks Aunt Hedder!
Let the tradition live on!

Derek and I didn't wear costumes this year, last year we were Harry Potter and Hermoine.
Our whole family is really into Phineas and Ferb this year, maybe we can come up with something awesome for this Halloween......!!

Thanks mom and dad.
You really made it special this year!
We really can't thank you enough for all of the hard work you went through to make this year so special! We love spending time with you both.

Evey looks adorable in Derek's princess dress. The boys are all so manly in their costumes as well.
